Sometimes I close my eyes and I feel like I'm flying through space,
then I wake and I'm still in the same place.
Time passes by before you can even realize,
and with one blink of your eyes you've missed a sunrise.
With each passing day we get closer to the end.
Things and people come and go like money and friends.
I spend my days in a constant race,
at a steady pace, on track to find your face.
Don't know who you are or where you reign,
but the thought of finding you keeps me sane.
These days it's hard to find a good girl,
whom you want to share your life and give her the world.
Sometimes I just think life is one big joke,
and these last 22 years have been up in smoke,
but I haven't been blazing,
Man ain't life amazing?
