There are times,
When every flash of my being
Is counted on the nervous
Reflection of life,
There are times,
When every cell of my being
Lives for the peace
That must come upon us,
There are times,
When my lung clenches into a stone
Unable to pulsate
To the agony we face,
There are times,
When all the energy surrounding me
Lifting me higher
To the rhythm of the wind,
And there are times,
When my being sees,
Our walk upon the thin line
Between misery and joy,
And when you stand,
In between those lines
With your naked flesh
That is the place you are set free

I really liked the emotion that you put in this poem. I could feel every pain and joy that was put in it. very good I loved it. Tory |

very nice write... especially the part "our walk upon the thin line, between misery and joy"
because I believe most of the majority lives in that place... |
