calamity, in love.

Shadow of my desire,
How to express my yearning for you?
I have sought the words in languages dead and living, yet they are threadbare and useless.
How to master the colours of this suffering so that
I may paint a mural for your eyes?
Tonight, the moon reminds me of your flesh only, and there is no comfort.
Beethoven whispers softly as I know you would in this darkness…
His soul swirls and undulates around my turmoil, seeping through it, spreading his tragedies like kisses from storms, and I think of how your mouth would feel beneath rain.
I think of his love for his sweet creature,
the struggle of that wretched night when she was
too far for him to scream her name,
when the horses swelled like black beasts in the night;
when the mud and the rain chained him,
though he still pushed for her.
I think of the thunder, and the clashing of your hips to mine, and - -
Won’t you please take me in your arms; take me to your bed?
Won’t you take my lips and hands? My thighs and breasts?
Won’t you take me as yours, and yours alone –
because I can wait for you in this darkness no longer.
Darling, won’t you let me be yours? Darling, will you come to me?

You have a panoramic way of writing where I felt as though I was watching this on a huge screen with surround sound and all!!!! Goodness, gracious.
Oh, and yes, love should be so insane!!! That is the stuff!!! |
