****** Are You Home Alone******

Topic: LovePoetry

She can,t get him off her mind,
so she calls him on the phone.
the first thing she ask him,
are you home all alone.

He tells her yes I am,
and will be for a while.
she said that it is great,
and she begin to smile.

She says I hope your not upset,
I really had to call.
he tells her it will be ok,
that he does,nt mind at all.

How long is she gonna be,
what doe,s she have to do.
it,s probably gonna be all day,
yes I"m free to talk to you.

She says I really miss you,
and I need you really bad.
he says I miss you too,
your the best I ever had.

How much longer do I wait,
just how long will it be.
until I can hold you in my arms,
as your laying next to me.

Please give me a little time,
I should be on my way.
even tho I can,t stay all night,
I"m really sorry to say.

So lets enjoy this time we have,
just being here with you.
I"ll treasure this moment,
I know you feel it too.

Now she knows he has to go,
and go home to his wife.
knowing that he,s leaving,
the best thing in his life.

Just one thing befor you go,
one day you will be free,
I can,t wait until the day,
when you will belong to me...
.

I like the poem and all, but I have two issues with it.

1. Why commas instead of apostrophes?

2. the asterisks in the title...

This poem is very interesting. I related well to it having been someone's "other woman" and knowing that they would be better with me. I think this will give a lot of people a different perspective of being that "other person".
