Let these stars shine
And our love brine
I will waddle through the bramble,
So I will be able to love and not grumble.
Let’s love my love.
I will dawdle in the brushes
And fetch you fresh red roses.
I will take wine and water
If it will make me love you better.
Let’s love my love.
Let’s love with eyes closed
And journey un-compassed
Till the road we lost,
For love will lead us back a-course.
Let’s love please love.
Day and night alike,
Together and apart alike,
In both our fault and right,
When heavy are the ocean tides
Let’s love my love.
God was, is and ever right,
He made the day you were born bright.
Let’s walk juxtaposition today,
Today a glorious day being your birthday.
