I listened your rattle, my little boy,
And heard your pitter-pattering feet
As you grew from a baby I watched with joy
Your mutterings.... oh so sweet
We play for hours you and I
I watch you as you learn
I watch the twinkle in your eyes
As for more and more.... you yearn
You show me all your drawn art
And when our play is over
I carefully store it in my heart
My memories will last.... forever
Sweet boy of mine you cannot guess
How oft you cheer me up
For I know I am truly Blest
With laughter, love and happiness you certainly fill my cup.

Oh mick, this is adorably sweet. Children fill so much
of our lives, it kinda makes us wonder, what filled
that space before, you know? This is wonderful. A very
happy read. ^_^

It's beautiful and I'm sure when he's older he will cherish this.
Dang time flies. I didn't realize he is that old or young.

Yayness, a poem from Mick!!! I think children are the best thing that can happen to us. This is how we live forever. This was good Mick. Definitely brought a smile to my ol' face as I am sure he does for you.

Hey, can't believe I missed a poem of yours!! But looking back at the date it was posted, I realise it was when I was in Texas.
This is an absolute gen, like Adam is. I am certain he cherishes his time with you too and loves his dad very much.
