Mama!

Contributed by thebadguy9999 on Friday, 21st May 2010 @ 05:21:45 PM in AEST
Topic: MothersDayPoems

Mama is a angel that is dear to my heart. You helped me be a man,My life's your work of art.You did the best you could with the little that you had.The love you showed to me helps me be a better Dad.I know your life has not always been grand.Though I'm grown i still need Mama's gentle hand.If i could go back, rewind all the years,There would be more joy and laughter,I'd erase all your tears.I know We've always been at the front of your mind.I thank God for you ,You are one of a kind. You are my Mama,You have blessed my life.Andy needs to know he has the greatest wife.So many times,My life you have saved.I will always love Mama from here to the grave. When you walk into view my heart starts to smile. And iI give thanks to God that I am your child.Mama your love has never let me down. When I think of my life,You deserve a crown.I know it's not easy raising two wild sons, but look at the wonderful job that you've done.Jeffrey and Jeremy are surrounded by grace,In the form of mama's precious face.I know that you worry for me and my brother. But remember we were raised by a very loving Mother. At the end of your days when into God's peace you do come,You will be undefeated,The World's Greatest Mom.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
