Comfortably Numb

Why do we sit back and twiddle our thumbs? How did we get so comfortably numb? The battle's at hand, the enemies at the door. Put on your righteous armor it's time to go to war.You have your battle cry,It's your testimony.Given to you by our Lord, the King one and only.Praise be to Jesus,to him be the glory. There maybe chaos all around us but Master says don't worry. The word of God says these things must come to pass. Satan will torment you,Your mind he will harass. The Lamb of God says we're too set in our ways. He's calling us to fight, It is the end of days. Satan wars against us even when we're in the pews.We will not be defeated ,We will gladly pay our dues.Jesus has sent us out as The Father did send him.To witness of his glory in this world so dark and dim.We act like weekend warriors and not enough like Christians. It's time to jump into the fire, shake off all religions.Religion cannot save your soul, just the Blood of Jesus Christ. If you think religion is the way you really should think twice.Jesus says I am the way,All sinners come to me.He is the life he is the truth, with him we can be free. There is sin everywhere,The battle still rages. So why do we act like birds locked in cages. We are God's Witness,Time to go door to door. One battle at a time is how you win a war.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
