Witness

Topic: ChristianPoetry

Jesus has called you to witness his name. His work will not bring earthly fortune and fame.Spiritual blessings will be to no end,So long as you yield to the spirit within.Jesus' harvest is ready. He wants you to go. Seeds have been planted, there is still more to sow.All will not listen, most will not come, If one soul gets saved, a good job you have done.Talking to the lost is not an easy task,As Christians we must try,That is all the Master asks. If God leads you to someone and you have no words to say,Just start a conversation,The Lord will guide the way.The disciples witnessed to all, they even cast out demons,Be like them and do not give up even when you feel like screaming.Jesus says take up your cross,go and follow him. He will lead you through the valley that looks so dark and grim. With his hands upon your heart,He makes fishers of men. You have your testimony, help lead the lost from sin.The harvest is plentiful.the reapers are few.He has filled you with the spirit ,You know what to do. The Christian life is not only blessings galore. You need to talk with the lost, give food to the poor. You talk real big when the spirit is among us. What do you do when the valley is humongous. You must speak of the Lord in every situation. As a child of the king it is your first occupation!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
