Rain is coming
Winds are blowing
Either way I find them knowing
Not an ego or a mind
Of which are friends best left behind.
Pitter-pattered
Diamond-drop,
Hear the ticking of the clock,
Lest you feel you're weak or weary
On this day of dripping dreary.
Let alone
The rain is bane,
Beat by beat you go insane
Of lighting strikes and chaos boom
I welcome them into my room.
Taste the rain,
Feel the creep
Of sodding sod on silver creek
For winter brings the best of times
On shadowed lakes of silvered limes.
On this day of dripping dreary
See yourself so weak and weary
Feel the ticking of the clock,
Pitter-pattered
Diamond-drop,
Waste away and give yourself
To ego's grip of selfless self.
Always right and never wrong,
Little pretty party song
Playing a tune the seasons teary
On this day of dripping dreary.
