Ever since you stepped into my world I’ve been struck
And I tried to get over you but without any luck
I tried not thinking of you but its so hard to fight
I’m like a moth in the night I’m drawn to your light.

I never had a chance,
the odds were against me, and I couldn’t get an advance
But there’s one thing I did know.
I was willing to spend it all in your casino.

I guess well never know what could have been.
I guess ill be the guy who is just a friend.
And sit quietly aside
While your knight comes and takes you on a ride.

I know you’ll never feel the way I do.
But my feeling though unreturned will remain true.
I’ll be here for you either way.
Cause I want each one of yours to be a sunny day.
