On a narrow winding path to nowhere
I am joined by silver shadows
Cast by evening glow.
Above me the sky is stretched out like a vast canvas
Splashed crimson by the hand of a mad artist,
And all the while the sun plays hide n seek
With the far hills and distant spires.
The rocky outcrop of the horizon
Is lightly stencilled by evening glow
And above me on a distant ridge the first stars enter the silence,
A cool breese caresses my face and touches the still water of the pond
A fox barks in distant woods
And I meet myself at last, and with my face shinning in the mirror of the water,
I am made whole again by evening glow.

| There is nothing like a walk in the mountains to make you whole again by breathing in all that you see beautifully descriptive using all the senses well written |
