I started dark, black, no vivid light
Went paths, that made me struggle, pity sight
I ate mud for breakfast, sand for lunch
blood was my dinner, but the heart would put up a fight
I swallowed every knife, drank every poison
just to make it feel "right"
I ripped out my soul, made the one my goal
I forced up a light
I was watering my garden, garden that seems full of roses
They didn't grow :( aww they were roses... paper roses
Making them a waste is unacceptable
I let them stay... maybe someday
I'm out of my flat, the world I see
I spit out the poison, threw up the knives,
Gave my world a color
I became blue, true, true
At least no longer a shade
but still a mess to ponder
To things much clearer
Now I'm a color, I'm blue, thanks to hue
