I am gonna do my best,
to be all I can be.
and let the military,
make a soldier out of me.
I"ll stand straigth and tall,
and I will make you proud.
heading to the training camp,
waves coming from the crowd.
I"m gonna serve my country,
and I will do whats right.
as we go to battle,
and we begin to fight.
The home of the brave,
land of the free.
this is what I"m fighting for,
please say a prayer for me.
Gun fire in the distance,
bombs all through the night.
another soldiers shouts,
is everyone all right.
I am an american soldier,
I"m proud of what I do.
off to battle in the war,
I"m here to protect you.

*I'm sure you nephew and all soldiers will cherish these powerful words.
My son was a soldier, he's retired now but I support all our soldiers.
