~~Diamonds On The Water~~

Contributed by Tory on Thursday, 13th May 2010 @ 04:25:35 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

It,s like diamonds on the water,
the moon lights up the night.
a cool sea breeze is blowing,
the birds are all in flight.

The stars they have a certain glow,
they sparkle as they shine.
I wish this night could last forever,
the night is yours and mine.

The wind smells like the salty sea,
there is just a little chill.
just take me in your arms,
and hold me close until.

The stars they twinkle in your eyes,
the moon shines in your hair.
a mist upon your face,
a moment that we share.

As we walk along the shore,
bare foot in the sand.
you give me a little smile,
then you take me by the hand.

This is one of many nights,
that stays here in my mind.
I will keep it close to heart,
it won,t be hard to find.

Thanks for jogging my memory.
Awesome write.
