your arms wrap tightly
around my insecure frame
your breath caresses my skin
your words a silken layer
love that warms a dying soul
cherishing each dream
evaporating with the laughter
nothing left now
shivering with self-depracation
light dims as the eyes close
on a life of silence

Great post!!
"evaporating with the laughter"
consider that. . . nice concept. . . evocative & seductive. . . nice pull, nice flow.

oh damn!! this is beautifully painful!! What
a perfect and emotional way to describe
the most vile of attitudes --loneliness. I
doubt there is a more inauspicious emotion.
But you have really captured the destruction
that accompanies it. Well done.
