I know as a woman,
I have many regrets.
all that I had planned to do,
still have,nt done them yet.
many things I,d like to change,
like secrets from my past.
I would,nt be a child bride,
things just happened to fast.
never would have had my kids,
God I love them all.
I would have stayed single,
and I,d be shopping at the mall.
I,ve had my share of let downs,
I have made many mistakes.
I have learned to deal with it,
and do whatever that it takes.
Maybe I would have money,
or drive a fancy car.
diamond rings and pearls,
I could even be a star.
Now I"m back to reality,
I have to face the fact.
nothing old, nothing new,
gosh I can,t even act.

| Tory, this was such a well written poem. We all have our regrets. Believe me I have mine. I dropped out of school when I was sixteen. Not my greatest choice. Now all I can do is live with it. But enough about me. Like I said this was a great poem. Keep your head held high. |
