I wonder

Contributed by chrissylee on Wednesday, 12th May 2010 @ 08:04:50 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

When you held me you touched my very soul,
When you kissed me I finally started living,
When we made love it was two souls blending,
Into one utter devine being that would never come untwined.

The moment you touched me I knew you were the one,
Even though you turned away I lived on in hope,
Then unfortunately I moved on,
Only because I thought we had come undone.

I still thought of you so much,
Still wanted us to be ohhh so close,
They say that some often leaves foot prints in your heart,
Believe me you left a stampede in mine.

So often in my day I think of you,
The what if’s the maybe’s and the what might have been’s,
I doubt there is not a moment now during my day that I don’t think,
The way things could have been, the way things should have been.

For all the heart ache I am going through now,
I still wonder do you really love me,
And if you do what happened to us,
And the dream and the way things should be now.

as someone who has recently been left, this really portrays those constant thoughts, and the desire to return to what was once so amazing... nice flow and honesty

My ultimate fear of getting into a serious relationship, winding up at the heartbreak hotel, i digg the poem, paintd a raw, honest picture of real-life situation in my mind.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
