Mom I was just sitting here,
I just want to express.
just how much I love you,
and wish you happiness.

I want to say I'm sorry,
that I have disappointed you.
and for all the fights we had,
the things I didn't do.

I thank you for all the times,
I needed my best friend.
you never were too busy,
an ear that you would lend.

I'm sorry that I hurt you,
all the times I let you down.
I know that I can't change it,
and yet you're still around.

You were always there for me,
when I got in a jam.
I owe it all to you,
you made me who I am.

Mom, please always remember,
I love you in every way.
so I wrote you this poem.
I thank God for you every day.
