Do you know how it feels when there seems no hope?
Everything’s so confined there seems no scope.
When your brain doesn’t function the way that it should?
And you can’t do the things that you wish you could?
Have you ever felt anxiety so much,it controls your days?
You hear words and advice and try all the ways,
To control it,stop the shaking,the sweating,feeling out of control,
As you feel yourself falling in to this deep dark hole,
Where no one can help even though you plead,
For help,for comfort,Its what you need,
But no one can get inside your brain,
And put it right to make you feel sane,
Have you ever felt despair so deep in your soul?
Where nothing or no one can make you feel whole?
Have you sat in the dark unable to cope with things?
Light,noise,movement,the stuff a day brings?
Has you mind ever raced so fast that you don’t know what you’re thinking?
There’s so much to do but at the same time you’re sinking?
Words,letters,numbers,things that make no sense,
And you’re talking trying to control it and put on this pretense,
That you’re raking in conversations and things are just fine,
When really your head is ticking,ticking away like the time,
But then time is so slow when you feel this way,
Everything needs winding up to speed up the day,
And you pace,you clean,you write and you plan,
You don’t sit down and so all that you can,
To burn off everything firing inside,
But eventually it stops and you just want to hide,
And have you ever felt all this combined?
There’s joy,agitation.anxiousness and despair,
Emotions play games with your mind and now being rational is rare,
So you pick up that blade,that razor,that knife,
And beg to God ‘Please just end my life’,
If you have felt these things things I so truly feel for you,
And if you haven’t you’re so lucky and I pray to God you never do.
