breeding my hopes in a thing called emotions
sifting through gold looking only for sand.
i'm drawn to you amidst all my commotion
compelled by your heart and my Fathers' hand.
"See can we not" holds true unto me
for the way of intention lures eyes to not see
Occlude the senses, and respite shall rise...
look for "keys" to the future in His crying eyes.

His teaching eventually brought down the mighty Roman Empire. But today it seems to be losing ground.
Yet the church (his church) will not divest itself of all the pagentry that was never intended.
The church withdrew itself from society. Said we must come to it. Blessed our armies. Became political and is slowly dying in consequence.
I hope you can help in it's restoration but I fear it is already a lost cause.
Good write. |
