Sea in Me

where the desert meets the
sea in me,
water sidles to the sand
and the meeting of the forces
is where I choose to stand
when the zephyr buffets
ocean wind, a meeting of a kind
where dry heat and wet breeze
lend balance to the mind
oases in a sea of blue,
cool comfort in the rills
a choice of summer sweat
or calm abyssal chills
where the desert meets the
sea in me,
when waves salute the shore
I feel a parting of the ways
joined forever more.

Hi Spike,
Another classic from your pen, that I've come to
expect and enjoy.
I think I've been there .... where the desert meets
the sea ..... but good to be taken there again.
