I knew her through sister's daughter
They were less friends than are sisters
To the house she came at sunrise
Both they went a-well got water
So the dishes to wash and rinse
They shared as need'd and not justice
Such friends in both truth and practice

I thought she was such I ere seen
Her nature is splendid and clean
So gentle as the rose petal
To be a-right she was so keen
Not to make mistakes that're fatal
Reputed poets seeks sorts like you
That they may have titles anew

Moons and suns rose and fell with days
Like she did in my heart in grace
A thought I bate bye with a wave
But it boomeranged and with pace
Till through my heart a road it pave
But a meal I swallowed with care
And kept secret like a priced wear

I shared this load that I've long bear
With a friend who's a friend and dear
The decision I can't alone make
So I sort counsel wise and clear
His words, eyes showed which way to take
But bate I took each step with time
So moon, stars and sun be a-rhyme

In time when we came face-to-face
After a long ride to her place
I became short of nerves and guts
And my heart shrunk without much space
Breathing became like loosing rusty nuts
With so little a time to spend
I returned need not meeting the end

All these I treasured in my heart
Deep that no one ever heard
But it became a huge mountain
That seemed rooted deep in the earth
Of piled thoughts, times was this mountain
This weight is weighing my heart down
Yet the heart gave me no much ground

So it chanced, the heart in real want
Wearing my energy strand by strand
Lame and lame I grew facing ruin
Thus I resolved to take a stand
That stand that was hard to find its tune
At last I muscled 'I will call you
Later, that is on xtra-cool'....................... (to be continued)

Beautiful poem. Full of the feeling of new love that is not quite attained. This feeling is like nothing else. Love that has yet to begin leaves you with endless hopes and dreams. I hope it works out. I loved this!
