Surrounded by her family,
and still she feels alone.
she just wants to give it up,
and turn her heart to stone.
He made her feel special,
and always showed her love.
but he has gone to heaven,
he's an angel up above.
He was all she could depend on,
lent a shoulder when she cried,
she had lost her best friend,
God knows how hard she's tried.
As she sits in a quiet room,
dad I know you're near.
I'm so scared and all alone,
oh daddy I need you here.
Suddenly she feels a comfort,
a warm feeling in her heart.
her fear seems to ease some,
and then the tears will start.
Then she feels a coolness,
somethings touched her hand.
thank you dad I love you,
and I do understand.....

Such a sad poem. And yet there is also hope. I wish your cousin the best. It was so nice of you to write this poem for her. |
