What i write

Contributed by Jessi95 on Wednesday, 5th May 2010 @ 09:27:56 PM in AEST
Topic: poets

Rainbows and ponies
That’s not what I write
I write about love
And they are never that light

I write about pain
And the darkness of night
I write about passion
And how we fit right

You may not like the way that I write
Or the way that I seize the pain
But you will have to deal
Because that is how I am known by name

So today I write to tell you the truth
Because that is how I feel
I write now to tell you
You really don’t have to kneel

So let me be so that I can write
And I’ll leave you alone to
And next time I see you
I will give you something so vary new

It may not be happy
Or it may not be very light
But that is me
And that is what feels just right

There's nothing better than being true to yourself. A fantastic write.
