Here it comes, the dull ache of dawn.
Seeping through my skull, I’m so tired and so numb.
Sleep starved eyes, surround sound holocaustic
Tie-dye sky, dilate and desecrate.
Sick head gaze, I’ve always felt this way.

Red horizons, heed the warning.
Slumber tourniquet encrusted.
One day more, another whisky stomach.
Excess salt, daylight completes the nightmare.
Epitaph conceived. Prophecy fulfilled.

Baby blue, this will never end.
Congealed love. Surreal serenity.
Pegasus come back, I miss your kisses.
Culture stalks, surround me in your mirrors.
Reminisce of leper lullabies.

Purple haze, it is my melancholy.
Self induced inertia, barely holding.
Narcissus. Nervosa. Narcoleptic.
Stumble over, tremble, she’s a sceptic.
Lick the wounds, forget our history.
