MONTIE AND HIS DOG "RUDI"
Sometimes in the Animal Kingdom
critters become confused.....
Montie's little kitty "Rudi" thinks she's
a dog, we're amused!
Most kitties are independent
We're their servants. or they're absent!
Puzzled by Rudi's personality.....
Is it a "Birth defect," genes, wrong copy?

From right to left:
Rudi, Sassy, on top of Lou Lou is Penny
Rudi thinks Montie is her Mommy.......
He can't escape her love for him.........
She's always by his side, her affection
is filled to the brim!
Be it in the shower, o'er his dinner plate
Rudi will sit patiently to wait!

She cries in the mornings as he dresses
He can barely get ready for work,
she runs all the bases!
Like a little Puppy Dog she follows
him down the stairs and out the door.
She'll sit quietly by the window on the floor
As his car disappears from the driveway
She'll cry, and cry most of the day!

Rudi's imagination is absurd!
There are times when she honestly
thinks she's a bird!
I've had kitties all my life, and I
must say.........
"Rudi should be a dog, she acts like
one in everyway!"
Words I can not find to tell
Montie's love for this little critter
Adoration excel......
'Tis a unique little Rudi that
loves Montie......
Kitties n'er cease to amaze
He's her "Cup of Catnip Tea!"
Created for Montie and Rudi
With Warm love

Good write.
My taco belle dogs think the are cats.
Stinky was raised inside when my cats were in the house. One day he jumped off the couch over my computor table into my chair on the other side. My son was amazed. I told him that he thinks he's a cat. All the siblings do the same.

Aw, too cool, Consue. I thoroughly enjoyed this. It also reminded me of my dog, who sometimes thinks he's a cat. I know he likes cats and gets along with them quite well.
His name is Cimba and he is a Tibetan Spaniel. He's the little guy on the left. |

Oh consue, how delightful. And the pictures were
so sweet. I really love the one of Montie with all the
kittens! Oh my, how adorable!!! :) You write with such
a lovingness and care that your readers can't help but
be touched by every word. It's easy to see the simple
things move your heart. And that, my dear friend, is beautiful.
What a happy post!! -- M

Dear Mom,
Thank you for such a wonderful poem. It never ceases to amaze me how well you can write. It makes me wonder how a rotten kid like me came from such a caring and wonderful mother like you.
Thank you again and to everyone that has commented on this. I love my "dog" very much.
Love, Montie |

Dear Mont,
How generous of you to take the time from your busy schedule
to comment on my poetry.
Your little Rudi, is so special, as special as can be!
I'm glad you think I'm a good mother, but where do you
get the idea that you are "rotten?"
I've lived with you for over 30 years, and not once
have you smelled? *smiles*
Warm love
