Forever
You are
Shrouded in
The lasting darkness
In the cold, with no hope
Feeling nothing beside you, you seem so
Scared, lost lamb, beloved arms you wish to grasp
Only find the moist pillows of your bed.
Crying out pain, you wash
Your shame only to find
eyes to the soul
that go on
Forever

Having been in this dark place I can relate to what you wrote. It accurately depicted how isolated and lost you can feel when succumbing to depression. Thank you for sharing this. You've put a voice to something I've tried to express for years. Good job.
