This is how is going down,
Invariable facts of life
There's someone to follow
Also there's someone to lead,
But then the things turn over
Through the music beat.

You will be my DJ
You will be my hero,
The one who's gonna
Save me for tonight.
Please save me DJ,
And I'mma save ya.

Be my hero tonight,
My prince, my knight,
Save the girl from the loneliness
Of this indecently huge town,
Cuz it drags my bottle down
And you'll get it as good as it gets,
As she's gonna save ya tonight.

I get to feeling a little lost,
For I got nowhere left to go,
Cause he's a wrap, so
I gotta shake his spirit off.
It feels like amnesia, cos
In this strange and crowdy club
Baby, you're the one I know.

The basses get louder,
The disco-ball's spinning
And its rays light up
Them party people.

But I got my eyes on you, boy, only,
I won't go home until the music pops,
I won't go home until I see the sunrise,
Cuz, DJ, you are my personal hero,
Who came here as the heaven sent
For me alone yeah...
