Some days I wish
That I was the one
But now I know
That my head was in the sun

It was impossible
For you to love me
You have locked your heart
Then you lost the key

At first there was hope
And a way to see
But for some reason
You never saw me

When we were together
We were like one
But then again
My head was still in the sun

So I didn’t think right
All I saw was stars up above
Yours and my friendship
I thought would turn into love

But I was wrong
You are as best as can be
But still for some reason
You just don’t see me

So here I sit
Only the stars to light the sky
And since you don’t see me
To my heart I still lie
