And a lifetime it takes, building memories, make. With the rate of the high tide approaching its' wake.
And Sandcastles crumble to mud. And the sun dries the beaches.
And Tomorrow morning: Another youthful year in a day will fill the coast with castles and buckets and sand.
And Mom and Dad watch with hope as blue as the sea.

I enjoyed this poem a great deal. I love the imagery used here and the metaphor is effective.
