Beyond
Crystalline forms surround my body.
Dreamscape – reality-insanity.
Beauty beyond comparison.
Light, from where? Impacts upon the crystals
Multi-coloured lights of the spectrum radiate
Flooding the room with colour that exudes life.
I must be dreaming but what are the crystals?
Are they life or memories or thoughts or doubts?
The kaleidoscope of beauty continues, why?
Is this a message, a hallucination, a bad dream?
No – this is important. There is language within the colours,
But I just don’t have the knowledge to discern the meaning.
I float defying gravity, touching the crystalline forms
And I begin to understand – to understand the message.
This is no alien intervention; it is human, and alive,
We have nothing to fear, only excitement of the next stage;
That which has yet to be written because it is forbidden.

You compose your poetry flawlessly my friend. This piece was superb in its delivery, and I really enjoyed the message that there is nothing to fear when it comes to death. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us. |
