An angel came to me one day upon a summer's breeze.
And made me fall in love with her and fall upon my knees.
For who could resist this vision of beauty and of grace?
The heaven spent withing her eyes, her gentle warm embrace.
But as time goes on all thing's change in this everflowing world.
As she turns and walks away to be another's girl
Her scent still lingers in the air and falls upon my skin
and echos of her laughter stab me from within.
A mortal wound? Yes, I think I shall not rise agian.
For who knows what else will wait for me upon the wind.

Very nicely written...
"For who knows what else will wait for me upon the wind"
Who knows indeed? But a new journey is worth embarking on I have no doubt x

The heart of a girl is a fickle thing
if you put her on a pedestal. For
when on your knees, she's looking
out at the field of play. Sad and well
written. But, "joy comes in the morning!"
