Heaven wouldn't be Heaven

Contributed by silent-cry on Sunday, 13th April 2003 @ 11:45:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

her eyes are blue and like the ocean they hold
a secret deeply buried and yet never told
the flame never dying of a well hidden love
the flame always burning for the one watching her from above...
they say dhe is heartless but how can they guess
the weight of her bleeding heart on her chest
the say her soul is dead but how can they know
that only at night under the moonlight that shines and glows
her soul is alive, and lost in her dreams
with passion his painful loss she redeems
and when she cries nobody hears
nobody tries to wash away her fears
not that she has many, she only has one
that her love might be forever gone...

but Dora if in your heart your love is still alive
then no need to worry, for no matter what your love will survive
and those cries that nobody hears
are heard by the angel you hold so dear
and day after day his love for you grows
for he never forgot you,and he knows
that heaven wouldn't be heaven if
god didn't give him back that greatest gift
your presence ond forever the sweetness of your kiss
heaven wouldn't be heaven if you didn't join him to be eternally his...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
