Speaking for Wolf

Contributed by DarkWolf on Thursday, 29th April 2010 @ 05:15:27 AM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

wolf run through forest
wolf has no fear,
wolf is king of his domain
then comes man,
man hunts wolf down
slaughters wolf and his kin,
man wants to look like wolf
using wolf skin as mans own,
to do this man kills wolf
man don't care how many wolf he kill,
all man care about is man
man care about mans appearance
man care not about wolf,
all wolf is near death now
hardly no wolf is left,
wolf do man no harm
yet still man kill wolf,
when wolf do man harm
it's because man first did harm to wolf,
man take food from wolf
in turn wolf take food from man
wolf takes mans pinned up food,
man gets mad at wolf
man kill more wolf
there is no since in mans anger,
if man didn't take food first from wolf
wolf wouldn't have to take food from man,
If man didn't harm wolf
wolf wouldn't harm man,
man need to keep away from wolf
if man do this wolf stay away from man.

No matter what people say we do not respect animals because we consider ourselves the top of the food chain. We make no attempt in reality to understand the life rituals of animals. I liked this poem a lot. Aliopterix.

Being that the wolf is my favourite animal, I am very akin
to this kind of write. Your words speak well for the way of
things. Wolves are very misunderstood creatures. How
unfortunate more do not embrace wildlife with the respect
they deserve. Thank you for sharing.
