I stare into the darkness,
Longing to be apart of it,
To bo one with it.
To be like a bat,
And swim swiftly through it,
With wings made for air.
With lungs made for oxygen.
Slowly,
Slowly.
I drown in the darkness,
Never to return.
And,
Slowly,
Slowly.
I welcome that which kills me.

A well written poem. And my suggestion for a title would be "One With The Darkness". But that's just my opinion. Great poem. Your longing to embrace the darkness is expressed very well. |
