What is that shrieking?
Look now!
A ghostly woman in the distance.
Hair in a black tangled mane,
Flowing in the chilly breeze.
Tear streaks down a pale face,
And the most insane of eyes.
It's the Banshee coming nigh!
She lurks in the dead of night--
Wailing her sorrow for all to hear.
For a love abandoned and denied.
She will get her revenge,
This vixen of the night.
