Hey did you hear...
If you have a secret,
It's for you, and you alone.
Don't write something down,
If you don't want it known.
There is such a thing as blackmail,
Even those nosy gossip queens.
And friends fall out of friendship,
About as quick as they begin.
Words become twisted,
Rumors begin to spread.
Juicy truths are boring.
Why--
When they can knock you down a peg.

As soon as you release those words they are sent on a journey of which you have no control and for their own reasons of weak humanity they are whispered instead of kept, very few are able to hold your words in the respectful silence they should be kept, strong write highlighting the weakness and insecurities of being human well written |
