Meet Under the Rain

We were to meet,
For one last goodbye.
And it seemed Mother Nature,
She mirrored my mood.

The clouds were dark and dreary;
They matched my inner turmoil.
As if it couldn't get any worse,
--it began to rain.

One would think this melancholy.
Well it was--for a mere moment.
Until I was engulfed in a hug,
And suddenly--
participating in the most romantic kiss of my life.

A depressing moment,
turned...
Unforgettable.
