Do you dare hail from the edge
that dropped you to your knees
breathing a sigh for another chance
to grasp what escaped you before
second opportunities await our reach
to be taken in confidence to succeed
scars of the past remind our bodies that wounds
heal leaving the mind to process puzzled pain
to face the wind with heart
opens novels of unwritten pages
skies of rolling clouds and rain no longer
face hidden fear yet bring forth a shrug
dark days only fall if we drown them in time

It has been a while since I've read something so emotionally
beautiful. As I read each line, I thought to single it out as the
most extraordinary line in the piece. But having reached the end,
my only conlusion is that this is just altogether too amazing to
single out any one line or word. There is something full, in this,
you know? I can't explain it. A resolute emotion that frees absolution
and steadies the heart. This, this is just wonderful. It is the type of
poetry that I would dare to live inside. Perfectly written.
Exceptional post! -- Achelois
