Descendant of coded makeup
it breathes heavy for all
transparent fury lurking
near ready to sting the tongue
a wrinkle unfolding an iron fist
scorching gray matter
xanax calm until time
releases pressures boil
isolating love to highways
and cold, silent rooms
relentless in pursuit of madness
only tears may stagger progression
stitched lips waiting to be pulled
hate rises when hearts stumble

I sense an incredibly difficult struggle in this. Something
that breathes of inner torment. We can be our own worst
enemy and when life around us becomes a suffocating
vat of arrogance and narcissism, we draw further into
our own safety nets. You write with emotion that is raw
and rare, and it is quite admirable. Well done!
LOVE that last line!!
Fantastic write! -- Achelois
