Saliva caked in the cracks of humanities mouth
from a diet of self-indulgence,
too long has generosity’s nutrition
been ignored to inflate ones inner orbit
Opportunities gifts for kind words left behind
for obese return,
a world’s aneurysm ready to implode
yet constant cravings must be met in disgust
Only gesturing kindly to receive when
genuine is delivered by chore,
time for self has riddled historic manners belly
fat and the intake is unforgiving
Scripted hearts searching for gain only
to be held true by those thinking what you already know,
pruned skin will show its layers leaving ego
vibrant in minds distant from what reality you so conjured

I am sincerely impressed. It is difficult to rearrange
emotion, applying words to represent its flavour
with just the right amount of seasoning which will
relay the point. This was exceptionally well written.
And although I do sense anger in this, posting as
"life" was more than appropriate. Especially these
days. It's seems the norm more than the exception.
Very well done! -- Achelois
