Curse of the Werewolf

Contributed by darkwolf on Wednesday, 21st April 2010 @ 08:40:38 AM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Blood is all I see,
in a dark pool it surrounds me.
I don't know what I have done,
but it sure feels like I should run.
What have I done now,
who do I turn to now?
Everyone around me seems to die,
and it seems to happen when the moon rises high in the sky.
A blood lust over comes me,
and it unlocks the wolf inside of me.
The hunger takes control,
and soon I'll pay my toll.
I can't win this fight,
that arrives in the night.
all of this death arrives with the full moon,
which comes way too soon.
I wish to be set free,
from the curse of the full moon that falls upon me.
What must I do,
to keep this curse from harming you.
But I don't want to leave you my love,
my sweet little dove.
But if that is the only way to keep me from harming you,
then leaving you is what I must do.
No matter how much it breaks my heart,
so I will not harm you, we'll have to be apart.
