MOONS AGO WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG
I SOMETIMES HAD TO BITE MY TONGUE
I LET YOU GROW AND FIND YOUR OWN WAY
KNOWING FULL WELL YOU WERE HERE TO STAY
WE'VE BEEN DOWN MANY ROADS THAT WERE ROUGH
YOU ARE MY DAUGHTER AND I KNEW YOU WERE TOUGH
YOU'VE PULLED FROM BELOW AND DEALT WITH YOUR PAST
FINDING THE COURAGE TO HAVE A FAMILY AT LAST
WITH ALL THE NEW SQUEALS AND THE LAUGHTER SO LOUD
I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I AM SO PROUD
ENJOY ALL YOUR SUNSETS AND DAWN OF EACH DAY
BRING YOUR FAMILY TOGETHER WHEN YOUR KNEELING TO PRAY
WHEN THE STARS ARE OUT AND THE SKIES HAVE BEEN BLUE
REMEMBER AS MOTHER,, I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU
LOVE MOM
