Today has come and yet it's gone
Still my heart bleeds for no-one
There is one I would surrender to
Give it all and play the fool
But I know it can never be
You see she is not meant for me
Our paths they crossed to early or late
Whatever it is, it's just not our fate
I shall leave her be and go on her way
And hope that she finds her love someday

| Wow. Powerful poem gravy. It is difficult to leave behind those who care for us, but we cannot care for in return. (Believe me, I know having been in both positions). Well written, heartwrenching, and bitter sweet poem. Take care my friend. |
