Feeling again

When you left me
I felt nothing but the rain
The wet of the water
Poring through the pain

Nothing in the world
Could heal my broken heart
Nothing in the world
Could save me from the part

I found somebody new
Someone who loves me
But for some reason
The pain won’t let me be

I’ve been hoping for some time
That I’ll learn to love again
That I’ll learn to feel that love
Until the very end

But after that rainy day
I feel nothing inside or out
All I do is walk around the room
With my face in a pout

I want you to come back
So that I can feel again
Because without you
My heart can’t possibly mend

But there you still sit
Not seeing that I’m here
All I want is to feel again
So that I can shed a tear
