These words I compose,
Come from the depths of my soul----
Captured like great fish to be consumed,
The meat devored and the bones discarded
All for the likes of you----
All for the sake of poetry.

We always put our hearts and the "depths of our souls" out there to be consumed. 'Tis what makes us poets and that you truly are.
Very interesting and well expressed.
Take care,
Tim
