Who am I?

I am as silent as a tear running down a soft cheek
I am as loud as the painful words of a young heartbroken girl
Words as beautiful as a models physique
Yet as simple as a little girl who loves to twirl
A heart filled with worries and regret
A mind flooded with memories I cant forget
Afraid to be broken
Scared to lose
Fearful of hurtful words unspoken
Prepared to sing the blues
Compared to the best
Considered the worst
Dared to be unlike the rest
Dying for happiness with a bitter thirst
Insecure that I cannot keep a good man
Confident that I am a good woman
I appear exactly how I began
Just a baby in this world taking her first breath... with no plan
Who am I?
Blinded by my past trying to make it last with my heart in a cast
Reminded of how fast I can shatter like glass and get cut like grass
So in other words
I am me
Confused....Confronted...Condemned
Dying to believe
Praying to God......
Amen

You are sensitive have a big heart and above all are very human with all the insecurities that brings, and above all in this context you are able to bring that heart to paper and write with meaning and sincerity, well written |

Nice and modest self-exploration. An excellent read. Aliopterix |
