Suicide

What’s weighing me down, I don’t understand.
I’m stuck in a whirlpool, I’m going to drown.
Praying for guidance, I’m answered with naught
How do I leave here, I don’t know what I’ve got.
I’ve found no answers, I cannot leave
This thing is dragging and pulling at me
This lost soul is looking and found nothing there
I cannot understand this abundance of breathless air
There in the distance seen only through haze
What looked like some very promising days.
Losing this battle others will win, happier faces in the end
Once there were people who actually cared
They helped through the problems now nobody dares
Once I am gone they’ll be at ease, to not have to look at me
