Lend Me Your Voice

Contributed by deadwriter on Wednesday, 14th April 2010 @ 04:53:07 AM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

Lend Me Your Voice

It seems every day that you are thousands of miles away
But you fill my thoughts throughout each and every day
I see you around every corner that I turn
The desire to be near you in my heart does burn

Lend me your voice as it brings comfort to my weary soul
Lend me your voice as it brings relief from the piercing pain
Lend me your voice as it soothes my racing heart
Lend me your voice as it calms my jagged nerves

As I prepare to make my exit from this place
My last vision will be the unmatched beauty of your face
The last scent will be that of your favorite perfume
The last sound will be that of your sweet voice; Loving voice

I LOVE YOU……….. GOOD-BYE

dw, this is a tragic blend of beauty and misery. The beauty is in the last sound ever desired to be heard and the misery, of course is in only wanting to hear it one more time. You have a way at tugging so at the heartstrings, my friend.
